Hollow glass

Hollow glass is composed of two  more layers of flat glass. Two  more pieces of glass are bonded  sealed with sealing strip  glass strip by high strength  high air tightness composite adhesive. Dry gas is filled in the middle  desiccant is filled in the frame to ensure the dryness of the air between the glass sheets. According to the requirements, we can  various glass pieces with different properties, such as colorless transparent float glass embossed glass, heat absorbing glass, heat reflecting glass, wired glass, toughened glass  frame (aluminum frame  glass strip, etc.), which are made by cementation, welding  fusion.

Its structure is shown in the cross section of double-layer insulating glass. Hollow glass can be 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12mm thick original glass, air layer thickness can be 6, 9, 12mm interval.

The heat conductivity of the glass is 27 times that of the air. As long as the insulating glass is sealed, the insulating glass has good heat insulation effect.

There is a certain space between the insulating glass  the glass. The frame is filled with desiccant to ensure the dryness of the air between the glass sheets. The space between two layers of insulating glass is generally 8mm.

High performance insulating glass is different  ordinary insulating glass. In addition to sealing dry air in the middle of two layers of glass, a special metal film with good thermal performance should be coated on the side of the middle air layer of the outer glass. It can cut off the equivalent energy radiated  the sun into the room  have a greater heat insulation effect.
